David is doing great! He must have had a growth spurt last week because he is now 14 lbs., 6oz! We are having a little trouble with feedings... we have to struggle to get him to eat all of his food, but he is gaining so I try not to worry so much. Actually, I'm really working on not worrying at all. God is showing me a lot in this area, how David's life is not in my control, never has been, no matter how much I try! This is not a bad thing either, God is in control and I completely trust Him with my David, He has been faithful! In our bible study we are reading Crazy Love, and the best quote is in it.
"Worry implies that we don't quite trust that God is big enough,
powerful enough, or loving enough
to take care of what's happening in our lives.
Stress says that the things we are involved in are important enough
to merit our impatience, our lack of grace toward others,
or our tight grip of control."

I remember reading this in Phoenix when David was in the NICU... it was exactly what I needed and the TRUTH. I hope it encourages you. :)
We are getting out more and socializing, which has been so nice for my sanity! My house is still a disaster... but I have realized that you can't live in a clean house, at least not with a toddler. Anna is eating like a horse and growing. She draws so much and I have to post a picture of it, it's pretty amazing. She can even write an A now! (not my doing either, just one day starting writing A's!) her funniest word is "peedooter", which is translated to "computer".
I have even started to work a few shifts in the ER again. It's a nice break for me and keeps my nursing license active. It's a night shift once a week or so for a few hours and Joel puts the kids to bed. I think that's about it for now, I better get some other things done during nap time!
Thank you continuing prayers for David, he is such a miracle and full of LIFE!
