We had a long night and David was able to rest and recover. He is still on the oscillator but things are much more stable (CO2 levels) and they are able to wean him. This is a good thing and if he continues to do well he may be able to come off later in the day or tonight.
The hospital was so cold last night I think I had some hypothermia! (kidding). But really it was unreasonably cold... but I had a refreshing and hot shower this morning, which makes almost everything better. :) I spent some time in the chapel, thinking and praying and just getting some much needed quiet time.
