Head ultrasound

Well... the roller coaster continues.

I have to be honest I hesitated to post this because I had some trouble understanding it when they first explained it. Maybe it was because they were not clear... who knows, for this I will spare the details. David's head ultrasound was not good, it showed problems. All of the doctors continue to say this does not change his prognosis and they still do not know what long term results will be. It will be hard to tell until milestones are supposed to be achieved. Joel and I have known his prognosis since day one and have not forgotten - moderate to severe developmental problems. It's so hard to imagine these things when he is so active, alert and beautiful, and my heart hurts to hear such news. Our hope remains in the only one who can give it, the Almighty God.

In light of this, his heart rate and oxygen drops seem to be fewer and he is gaining a little bit of weight. Please pray that he tolerates feedings and continues to grow! Please pray for his brain to heal and peace for our family. Thank you friends.

  5. Crystal, Joel, Anna and David, Gods plans are in motion and I am convinced that he could not have chosen two more perfect examples of Christ's love in this terrible world, than to have chosen you as David and Anna's parents. Your faith in our Father, radiates in all your messages, despite what this world would see as an insurmountable challenge. God is your strength and refuge and you have not wavered from that! I am encouraged by your faith. Thank you! We all need people in our lives who radiate Christ, to give us hope in such a fallen world. Our prayers continue for you all. Thank you for making us a part of your lives.
