The neurosurgeon was here today and took off more fluid from his reservoir. They want to do this more frequently for a time to try and help him more. Please pray that David will begin to drain this fluid off on his own. Also, the neurosurgeon was telling us if he needs to get a VP shunt (permanent draining) we would move to the other campus (Phoenix Children's - main campus). There are some differences between the two hospitals... one main difference is the privacy. Please just pray that if we need to move that the transition would be a blessing and not a burden.
One last specific prayer request - David has two lab results that are high and most likely are due to him needing more food. Please pray that these normalize and he poops more! And of course gains weight!
Here is a picture of my bundle of joy... enjoy! Thank you prayer warriors!

Heavenly Father, I asked that you lay your hands on little David and heal his body. Be with his family as they stay by his side. Wrap your arms around them and comfort them with your love. Amen
ReplyDeleteA roller coaster is an apt description for the ride you're on. Sorry to hear there were some dips but glad you are able to find some peace. Little David is a great fighter and he is surrounded by family, friends and healers. I pray the news get better and your family will find rest and strength.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see a new photo of your precious boy. What a doll! I look forward to one day getting to meet this little guy and love on him! We are praying for God to work more miracles...and He is more than able to do that. But whatever His sovereign will is, He will certainly give you the grace daily to walk that path. And it will be for His glory, no matter what the "IT" is! (2 Cor. 12:8-10, Rom 8:35-39)
