Neuro stuff

I talked with the neurosurgeon today and he has reviewed the head ultrasound. He does not want to act on the fluid build up just yet. He took a lot of time to describe to me what was going on in his brain. I am thankful for his very detailed explanation and time to answer my questions. He takes more of a conservative approach and will check on his head measurements and more ultrasounds to determine a need to put a reservoir in to take off fluid. On the bright side, there is no further bleeding and the right side of his brain is doing better. Please be praying for David's body to absorb this fluid on his own.

Praise that David continues to tolerate his feedings well and will be up to full feeds in a day or two.

A passage from my reading today -

My soul, wait in silence for God only,
For my hope is from Him.
He only is my rock and my salvation,
My stronghold; I shall not be shaken.
On God my salvation and my glory rest;
The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God.
Trust in Him at all times, O people;
Pour out your heart before Him;
God is a refuge for us. Selah.
