Time really flies... when you are having fun! :)

After our appointments in Phoenix, we traveled to Washington to see Joel's parents for awhile. David's MRI was fine, the neurosurgeon says the MRI of his brain looks a little better than the previous one, which was all I needed to hear! Hallelujah! He was a little concerned about his muscle tightness in the left arm and legs. When we get back, we will be seeing a new doctor, a physiatrist, about some treatments for this muscle tightness and I'm looking forward to more movement for David. In case you are wondering, when he attempts walking (holding hands), he crosses his legs, one foot in front of the other. Grandma Laura calls it his "model walk." The hamstrings are tight. And his left arm tightens up when he starts playing with things with his right.

As soon as we arrived David started a new trick, pulling up and sitting on his knees! Oh what a delight... or anxiety! I LOVE that he is doing that, but at the same time, he is falling a lot! It's like I have a little baby again, so weird! He already got a bruise on his cheek trying to get up on the piano bench. Sad days. But I know he will learn and get more balance, the sooner the better. I'm excited to get home and see the new things to work on with our physical therapist.

Some things to keep in your prayers - David will have an outpatient eye surgery in January to correct his eye crossing. He still has few words, but is increasing them - to bye-bye, papa, clear "all done, and a version on no. Still no weight gain... skinny boy, but he is getting taller!

 He loves to eat popcorn!!

As always, David is an amazing little boy! He is lovable, super cuddly, sweet and blessed! We continue to pray for complete healing and that he would be blessed beyond measure.
