He does...

Here are some things David is doing, age 17 months, adjusted 13 months...

*drinking from a straw, sippy cup
*feeds himself
*army crawls
*entertains self for a bit
*tries to make sis laugh
*plays roll the ball
*tries to get away when changing a diaper :)
*waves bye-bye with the cutest finger curls
*stands with support
*sits up but awkwardly at times because of tights hamstrings
*gets into things he is not supposed to
*plays with fridge magnets
*pushes cars around the floor
*flips pages of a book
*words... "star" (really), "all done", "bye bye" (once, so far), "diaper" (first one), "mamamamamamama" (when really upset), "dadadadadadada" (all the time)
*deliberately throws food on the floor... (huff)
*snuggles close to mommy, esp. when shy
*loves to shut doors
*says all done by waving (finger curls)
*points... esp. when he is in trouble
*puts things in a box and takes them out

that's all I can think of now... isn't he sooo adorable? I love that he is learning so much and doing "normal" things. Although don't get me wrong, he is an extraordinary little boy. The other day, sissy was being a bit dramatic and David crawled over and patted her on the back. Empathy is amazing and according to brainy doctors, a big deal for kids to learn!

Anna is doing great too. She is learning how to be a big sister... we deal with lots of stealing from brother. Oh the joys of sibling rivalry. She is getting ready to start dance at our church, she is very excited! She is always wearing a tutu around the house, loves to color or paint anything, cut with scissors, plays with trains, dolls, counts in Spanish to ten, dress up, loves to swim, eat, read books, and go to McDonald's with daddy. We recently have been to the movies for a summer movie fun series, where the movies are super cheap. Unfortunately, she is terribly scared of loud and creepy music, especially in the previews... Really, do they need to play scary music in the previews for Winnie the Pooh? We did survive it though with some loud, "I want to go out of here"'s, hopefully the people in front of us weren't to angry about it.

Otherwise, we are just hanging out... and would love to go on a roadtrip! :) Oh, check out these awesome photos, happy anniversary (eight) with a new camera! (ok... so I will get the pics posted soon.)

My little snuggle puppy!
