a first time for everything

This week has brought a few new "first" things for David and I thought I would share them with you.

A first tooth!!!

A first haircut (trim my mommy)...

A first time in the nursery at church.

I know, yes, my children take a while to produce teeth but I hear it's better for them. (Any dentists' to back that up??) It's so cute, I love it. Also, since David no longer is wearing his helmet, he had some uneven spots in the back so I just did a little trimming on the hair. And I realized that boys need haircuts all of the time! I am not used to that with a girl... and David has bone straight hair so I don't think we will be growing it out. :)

We also made the bold move and took David to the nursery at church this Sunday. It was very scary and nerve-wrecking for me at first, but it was something I needed to lean on God for. To be still, trust. So I did and it was glorious! The pastor's wife even went up and prayed with him!

David is doing so great. I am in awe of his new skills each week. We are learning to wave "bye bye" right now and he did it twice now! He is standing better and starting to pull up a little. He was making fish face a few weeks ago, here is a pic!

here's some other sweet pics... will update with some no helmet pictures soon when I download my camera! And from Anna's birthday party!
