stinky helmet

Oh what a glorious day! We had a great weekend, church was lovely and the true meaning of Easter preached! And then yesterday, I received great news! David could take off his helmet forever! Exactly 5 months he had to wear that stinky helmet. Yes, it is very stinky... especially in the way of sweat. It is always warm here and lately we have been in the 90s, hello summer. I am extremely thankful and even more so for David. I know he has not loved having 13 ounces on his head... and I am relieved to be rid of comments. Ugh! Sometimes people can be a little nosy. :)

I am excited to watch him for new tricks in the coming weeks without the weight of the helmet. His sitting has improved drastically and he is more and more interested in standing and pulling up. No worries we still have some time before walking!

Thank you for your prayers, I get to see answers to them all of the time! David is becoming more curious of his surroundings; he is eating like a champ and even some table foods; he uses his left arm from time to time on his own, we are loving it!
