keeping busy...

Well, this season always proves to keep us and everyone else busy, busy, busy... David's helmet is going ok. He is tolerating it fine, except for a few naps and we have had to adjust it a few times already (and needs to be again) because the little squirt is very squirmy in his bed and likes to shove it in his eyes, causing some swelling by morning. I can't lie it has been a little frustrating. :) Any continued prayers are greatly appreciated.

Here is a pic from the Balloon Festival we went to a few weeks ago. At the time, Anna was very scared but now she is constantly asking about the big balloons and fireworks! Aren't toddlers so funny?

Christmas is right around the corner, we will be spending it in Washington with Joel's family. We are secretly hoping for a lot of snow. :) Fortunately, we are flying out of Phoenix and can see my family as well!

Anna went to a Christmas party at her preschool this weekend and came home talking all about Santa Claus... oh dear. At least she is not afraid of him, right? She says to me as we are driving home, "Mommy, Santa is pretty." A little weird, but ok... Just about everyday, I remind her that Christmas was the day Jesus was born and that is why we celebrate. She is so sweet and has really enjoyed all the Christmas lights around the neighborhood! It's been a fun time seeing what Christmas looks like through a toddler.

I pray your Christmas is filled with joy!
