The title of this post was the text I received last night around 8:30pm! Hooray for poop! David did it, finally! I guess it was a lot too... :) Thank you Lord!
David continues OFF his oxygen and only had a few episodes since yesterday that he needed a little blow-by oxygen (which is just holding a little mask with oxygen near his nose and mouth to give him a little help). His CO2 level was even better today than yesterday as well! But we will continue to pray for his lungs and praise God for where he is.
We move hospitals sometime tomorrow and surgery is tentatively planned for Wednesday at 2pm. Please begin to pray with us for this date and time, the surgeon, and David. We will continue to pray for a miracle in the meantime.
Oh and before I forget, today is Anna's birthday!!! She is a big girl at the age of 2! I remember when I thought about her birthday and David's when I was first pregnant... I thought ok David will be 37 weeks on Anna's birthday... oh no what if they have the same birthday I thought (being that I was early with Anna I figured I would be a little later with David)... boy was I wrong! Ha!

Hi, I just want you to know that I am praying for David. How great that he is doing well without the oxygen. Even though I don't write a comment, I am reading your blogs. I am flying out to Vegas on Wednedsay to see my grandchildren, but I will keep David in my prayers as I go.
ReplyDeleteYea!! Who knew we would be celebrating poop? But we certainly are! Way to go, David!! We are praying for the next hurdle with strengthened faith as we see God continue to work in many ways...even with poop!! LOL
