The neurosurgeon did drain some fluid today and he says David looks good. They send off the fluid every few taps to watch for infection and see what his cell counts are. Praise God that he has not had any infections and we will continue to pray against them.
The doctors are pleased with where he is right now. They plan is to decrease feeding time and oxygen pressure again tomorrow. Huge praises that David's total bilirubin has decreased AND he is starting to make his own red blood cells! Tomorrow David will get his eyes checked again, hopefully it will be the last time while we are here. We are praying for mature retinas and no ROP.
Mutti, Laura's mom, flew in last night! We are so excited she is here and gets to meet David later today!
