David is doing good. He is not having as many events in the past few days, I would say even the last week. He is growing and tolerating his food, with an occasional cough/gag. The doctor decided to add a thickener to bottle feeds and Joel was the first to try it out and David did great!!! He took 20 ml's, almost quadruple what he has been taking! I was thrilled and I pray he can continue to do so well!
One area of concern is that his tummy is so round and big. It is so much better than a few weeks ago. But if he does get the VP shunt, it will only make it bigger since that is where the fluid drains... (from the neurosurgeon). So please pray that if he does need the shunt that his brain, body AND belly would cooperate! No plans yet, but in preparation.

David is like the Energizer bunny....he keeps going and going! Glad he is eating so well as that will help his body heal itself.
