David - Beloved. William - Protector.

David is doing well today. His pressure to the nasal cannula is decreased again and hopefully we continue in this direction. I can tell already that the lower flow has helped with the air in his belly. We haven't had as many events (oxygen and heart rate drops) in the past few days.

Please pray for David to tolerate his feedings. We will begin to speed them up through his tube to get him ready for bottle/breastfeeding. This usually begins around 34 weeks, we are just practicing now to see how he he tolerates it. He is doing ok with it.

The last couple of days have been so much better for me physically! Praise God that I can finally pick Anna up (here and there)! My post partum appt was great and I was cleared to do whatever, of course at a slow pace. For those of you with c-sections, I know you understand my pain when I say it is a frustrating and slow process of healing! All that to say, I am thankful and feeling much better recently to those who were wondering. Thank you again for your prayers!

  1. So glad to hear you are doing better, Crystal! I know your outlook on everything else is better when you are physically doing better. I pray for continued strength and steady improvement for both of you!!!

  2. Glad to hear your appointment went well and you were cleared to resume normal activities! I bet Anna was excited to have her Mommy hold her again!
