The neurosurgeon was in today and took off some fluid from the reservoir. I wanted to give a little detail for people who were wondering about what a reservoir is. The neurosurgeon explained it to me this way... they place a tube into the brain (that doesn't seem to have any function) that comes to the surface of the scalp where they put a reservoir (disc-like object that can be punctured with a needle). They can access this as many times as they want to take off fluid without having to do anything major. This is a temporary fix as David is very small. When babies have grown a little more and if they continue to need the fluid removed, they put in a VP shunt which is permanent and drains into the stomach. Hope that helps!
Many of you have been asking about Anna. She is doing great! Grandma Laura and her spend their days here and there, around the Ronald McDonald house or at library story time. On Wednesdays, she spends the night with my parents/Aunt Ashley and gets to see her cousin Jaxson for some fun toddler play! Both families are such an amazing help, we couldn't do it without them. Here is a picture so you can see my sweet babydoll!

Crystal, Anna is beautiful, just like her Momma!Praise God for the continued good reports on David William! We are praying for your strength and Joel's as well. We lifted you all up in prayer at church tonight. Where two or more are gathered in my name.....
