Wow it has been a while since I have posted! I'm sorry these are so spaced out, it is a bit busy in the Knutson household. David and Anna keep us on our toes!
David is doing pretty well, gaining weight steadily and eating more and more by mouth. He really does not like it when we put his milk in his tube and we have been battling this problem. Thankfully the doctor feels comfortable allowing David to try and just eat when he is hungry. This is a huge step for him! It is a huge blessing too because we have been having a lot of issues and frustration with tube feedings. Please pray that he can do it!
He weighed 9lbs, 6 oz yesterday and got his 4 month shots!
On Sunday, we will be traveling to Phoenix for a lot of appointments. He will be a month old corrected and that is when all of the doctors want to see him - the eye doctor again, the neurosurgeon, the lung specialist, and he will have another swallow study to see if he can take thinner liquids. I need some extra prayer support because I don't enjoy traveling up there and being away from home. Thankfully my parents will be there and able to help us!
Praise - we have been getting more sleep (minus last night - I think due to shots) and I have been feeling a little more rested! I am starting to look for some more help during the day... with Anna and some housework, and maybe for David a day or two to get a break. If you know anyone... please pray that we can find a good match!
