David - Beloved. William - Protector.

Thursday, April 15, 2010

Today David is doing fine. No real big changes in his condition, the neurosurgeon came today and took some fluid off.

One thing to pray for is that he would start taking milk from the bottle. He has only taken about 5 ml's or so at a feeding and obviously needs to take more than that! He does breastfeed, but there is no real accurate way to tell how much he drinks.

Thank you for continuing to follow the blog and praying!

  1. Crystal, Don't get discouraged. I have a dear friend who's daughter was in NICU for a month. She never bottlefed really well but was a real champ at breastfeeding. Maybe David will be like that also. You all remain in my thoughts and prayers, Kimmie Harris

  2. A papa's blessing...

May you grow to be a heavy drinker!?

Probably not what you had in mind, but blessings to David and you.

  3. Hi
I am an old 'friend' of Joel's and was told about your blog through my mother who ran into Peggy Burroughs the other day. What an amazing story of God's blessing and protection your little one will have to share. We just walked (and continue to walk) a path similar to this with our dear friends (karsiegene.blogspot.com)and they were told many of the same 'doomsday' info you have heard....death at birth, brain trauma, development issues, etc. And God healed her & so far she is a normal little girl! I pray the same miracle for your little David. God is good! Know we are praying for you all in California. :)
