So... If you have been reading along you know that David was getting treatment for his PDA (a large vessel in the heart that is not closing). Well, so far they have been trying ibuprofen and it hasn't worked. They have been hearing a heart murmur for quite a few days that is getting worse. The echo-cardiogram today showed moderate to large PDA, basically not good. This could be the cause for his heart rate drops as well as some other things. Now they will be trying a medicine called Indomethacin. Please pray that this medicine along with God's grace would work... if not he will need surgery to close it.
Also, David was switched to c-pap (the mask) because he had a hard night with heart rate and oxygen level drops. So please keep this in your prayers as well.
Joel's Dad (Mark) came in for the weekend so we are thankful his parents get to see each other. It's the first time since this began four weeks ago. Please pray that they would have a blessed time together and would come away from this weekend with new strength. We are so thankful for the help they have been.
Praying the weekend brings better health for David and renewed strength for all of you.
