David - Beloved. William - Protector.

Life is full...

There have been better days in life besides the last couple. David is doing ok, he continues with his breathing tube, oxygen level drops as fewer. However, the fluid on the brain seems to be more... the doctors anticipate the procedure to remove it (but the neurosurgeon is the one who makes the decision and he will come to assess him again today). Please pray for his sodium level which has dropped, that it would return to normal. Praise for David as he continues to increase in breastmilk and decrease in intravenous nutrition.

My precious babydoll Anna had a spill yesterday night which led us to the emergency room for some stitches in her lip. (Just running around in her diaper after a bath) She is so much better today, like nothing has even happened. I know you can imagine my disbelief and pain... all I can say is I'm leaning on my Jesus and doing the best I can.

There are other frustrations and things right now... Please pray for our family - protection, love, and faith in the Lord.

Love never gives up,
never loses faith,
is always hopeful,
and endures through every circumstance.
1 Corinthians 13:7

  1. Sorry to hear about Anna's fall, I know that's the last thing you needed. Glad she is better and continuing to pray for David's health and the myriad details surrounding his care. Hope you and Joel are able to catch some rest and are receiving encouragement. We love ya'll!

  2. Poor Anna, and poor mommy! Watching a child, scared and hurting, get stitches is wretched! Oh, if I could hug you I would! We continue to be with you in prayer.

  5. Crystal, Joel, Anna and David,

God is so gracious, he does answer prayer in the most awesome ways to his faithful followers! Thank God the surgeon is coming to you! I am so sorry Anna had to have stitches! Bless her heart. I pray the ER was gracious to her and helped her through a frightening experience! If God brings you to it, he will see you through it!
